About the University
Established in 1997 by the State of Madhya Pradesh, NLIU is recognized by the UGC and the Bar Council of India as one of the country’s leading National Law Universities. Conceived as a center of excellence in legal education and research, it offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs that integrate theory with practical training through clinical courses, internships, and industry partnerships.
